My friend Bridget will be having her first baby the end of this year. It gave me the perfect excuse to knit these. Alex and Christian are asking for some too...they love legwarmers. And of course, the new baby will be getting a pair too. The pattern was very easy and I learned to knit with double pointed needles. This is also my first foray into color knitting.
So there will be a lot of knitting this winter. If only I could find out now if the baby will be, I mean if the baby is, a boy or girl. Until February, it'll be gender-neutral knits for baby.
