This girl loves to help me in the kitchen. Whereas the boys' enthusiasm waned after a few months, Katya keeps going. Every single time I cook, she's pushing a chair to my side to help me. One day, she took a knife and started chopping mushrooms quickly and haphazardly with an up and down motion that I never use. When I asked what she was doing, she said she was doing what Chang Jing does. Chang Jing is the main character in a Korean soap drama that we've been watching together which depicts a lot of cooking in the royal court. It's true that they show scenes of the royal cooks preparing food in this way. Funny girl.
